Topic:  Local Government Leadership Post-Pandemic: Needs and Challenges

Summary: Local City Managers came together with NSU to discuss the impact of COVID-19 on local government and civic life. Panelists provided insights into how the pandemic changed the way we manage our cities, and explored potential permanent shifts and trends that will likely emerge as we move beyond the pandemic to a "new normal."

  • We are a university-wide chapter for both undergraduate and graduate students, led by graduate students from the Department of Public Administration and Real Estate Development.

  • Our aim is to attract graduate and undergraduate students who are interested in public service but may not be aware of career possibilities in local governments.
