The ICMA strives to introduce and integrate students of all ages into the local government management profession.
Interested in exploring a career in government, public health, business, or real estate?
Membership Benefits
-
The ICMA Student Chapter at NSU is a NEW STUDENT ORGANIZATION – participate as a FOUNDING MEMBER and help us attain the full potential of the program!
-
We are a university-wide chapter for both undergraduate and graduate students, led by graduate students from the Department of Public Administration and Real Estate Development.
-
Our aim is to attract graduate and undergraduate students who are interested in public service but may not be aware of career possibilities in local governments.
-
Student Chapters gain access to the many resources available to professional members of ICMA, including networking opportunities with members already established in the profession.
-
Help build stronger relationships between the local government management profession and the academic community.
-
Gain access to scholarships, internships, experiential projects, and valuable professional development resources.
